The comment in question came as Biden was wrapping up the interview, and host Charlamagne tha God told the former VP to come back on the show in the future, saying there's "a long way until November; Biden responded by saying that anyone torn between voting for him and Trump "ain't black." The Biden Team has been trying to walk back the comments, with Biden himself saying in a lengthy statement that he shouldn't have been so flippant.
