There are many different subgenres of House music. In the 2010s, we saw an electropop/house fusion (e.g. Bad Romance and We R Who We R), Eurodance, Electro House, Progressive House, Big Room House, Dutch House, Deep House, Disco House, Bass House, and Tech House. Too many House subgenres! Yet very little of it sounded like ‘80’s/‘90s house music. I would’ve killed for a song that sounded like Pump Up the Jam or Vogue.
