However I think SL is more unique as a tune, but harder to listen to on an everyday basis. It's truly electric in its energy and it builds to it instead of just hitting hard out the gate. The melodies are gorgeous as are the instrumentation choices. Stupid Love is loud and in your face while also lacking the strong melodies of Rain On Me. Lyrically there is no competition - Rain On Me has such beautiful lyrics that carry so much more weight. In the end Stupid Love is a cute and fun song, but it doesn't breathe or carry the same weight as Rain On Me - love them both, but one is definitely much stronger.
