I've been stanning this woman since I was 8 years old, and I'm 20 now, and it's just freaking amazing to witness the past ten years of her career leading up to this song + Chromatica. It's just so wonderful to hear such a perfectly constructed song, about radically accepting your pains, and singing with an artist that is also from this fanbase. Rain On Me just sounds so wonderful. It feels like a validation- a welcoming into a world where you CAN own your weaknesses and past experiences and dance through it. It makes me wanna continue my life. I've dealt with so much trauma my entire life and Gaga's music has always been my #1 companion. This song feels like a hug. I just wanna meet everyone of y'all and meet Gaga and give everyone a hug. So overwhelmed with the exact same passion and excitement I felt back when i was like 12 in the BTW and ARTPOP era and it's a LOT more than what I needed in these isolating times.
