Yeah. That "Wooow.." After she shares the Free Woman lyrics is disingenuous, like he doesn't give a sh*t but is trying to look shocked.

I noticed that too but maybe it's because they are not actually face to face. These work from home zoom stuff can only do so much. Human interaction can't be replicated.

It is interesting how she wants to move away from being a celebrity. Her debut album was literally called The Fame and it was all about celebrity and chasing that dream and how it feels to be famous. Even ARTPOP was very in-your-face about her being a celebrity and famous. I get she has matured a lot since those albums and I find it interesting how she has a much more human and personal feelings now about her music and how she wants it to touch people.

I do worry about the way she sounds though. Does anyone else think she sounds sick and very nasally?

I find that interesting too, but I think she has been consistent with her thoughts. Actually The Fame was more of a satire/commentary on fame and celebrity culture, paparazzi, ****ography, etc a la Warhol. Not her wanting to be a celeb, so, nothing to do w it

EDIT: Even back then, she didn't like being called a celebrity. In interviews she always called herself an artist.

On TFM she actually tells us how she feels about being famous, which is not very good. She sings about extreme pressure, fear, feeling that she's selling out, addiction, etc.

and on ARTPOP she's actually setting herself free from the 'fame monster' calling out her own label for trying to control her and responding to how the media portrays her and the lies they spread about her. (**** you pop music, this is ARTPOP)

She's def still not free from this struggle of hers. But with each album she's trying to battle it in different ways

Missing her interviews with Howard Stern. Somehow when she talks with Zane, these interviews are about nothing. :madge:

You should be able to listen to it for free on Beats 1 on music.apple.com but only live I think.

Her interviews with Zane are always about "overcoming pain through music" :ladyhaha: Every single one of them. I wish she did one with Howard.
