Rain On Me & The Queen

So ... I was waiting for the release of the wet-legendary song "Rain On Me", in order to keep myself busy, I decided to listen to Gaga's albums. Nothing interesting, yeah. But then I got to “Born This Way” and while listening to the song “The Queen” something came to me.

We all know that in “Rain On Me” it is sung about some water that falls on the main character (ie Gaga / Ariana) and she does not like it at all. And in the lyrics there is also the line “I'd rather be dry, But at least I'm alive”, which clearly tells us that the girl would do better without this “water” than suffer from it.  At the same time, the song “The Queen” (in the second verse) contains the line “When you run dry, I'll flood your pain”, that is, “water” is a kind of metaphor for love that Gaga uses to heal someone. (Also do not forget that this song is dedicated to fans). So in one song Gaga sings about love that heals, and in another about the one that harms. There is also the line “It's coming down on me water like misery” in “Rain on Me”.

It seems to me that Gaga sings about love that can harm you. (also a line from "Judas" tells us “I've learned love is like a brick, You can build a house or sink a dead body”) This may be a song about abusive relationships in which “I'd rather be dry” = stay alone than to be in such a relationship. Or this is generally opposed to the “The Queen” and Gaga singing about fans who supposedly love her, but only destroy her.

And sorry for the poor language skills. I hope you understand something.

edit: Guys, I just proposed my theory, which is based just on a funny coincidence between two songs. This fan base generally found in “Million Reasons” a subtext about suicide, but you made fun of me for the idea that this pop song is can be  about love. And for me, the concept between “Stupid Love” - “Rain On Me” - “Free Woman” in which it is sung about love, relationships and about getting rid of them seems quite logical.

I love y’all but don’t we already know what this song is about? :poot: The trauma and hardships celebrities go through in life despite living in a mansion and having money? Hence why it’s being released on the anniversary of the bombing? :messga: maybe I read it wrong but I’m pretty sure that’s the meaning of the song.

Lol, two comments above. Do you really think that Gaga will limit herself to just one theme in this song? It can make a lot more sense than"the miserable lives of celebrities." It can be a whole almanac of suffering and difficulties, including the love that makes us suffer.
I said what I said.

You got all that from one line of the song? :poot:

I didn't ask for a free ride, I only asked you to show me a real good time.
