Original Plan for Enigma & Chromatica

I think they would have incorporated Stupid Love and other songs but mainly kept it the same until May 15th. Then go on tour, recycle part of Enigma with new segments for the Chromatica Ball, and then adapt the Chromatica Ball for Vegas

the Cyborg act and other bits and pieces are very Chromatica so I'm pretty sure they had the LG6 revamp in mind when they developed it

She was touring for The Monster Ball while touring for Born This Way so its not like she hasn't done that before. 

I still get confused whether her touring in 2011 is "BTW ERA" or still "TFM ERA"

I understand this comparison, but it's really tricky to compare Gaga to Britney. Gaga puts much more of her soul and effort into making music, so she'd be more inclined to want to perform/promote/celebrate new songs/albums. Britney doesn't care about the music she puts out, why would she care what her setlists look like?

She added the song Born This Way to TMB but TMB did end before the BTW album ever came out.

It was still very much TFM era when TMB was touring. There was some cross-over with BTW (song) and Judas coming out at the end of the tour, but the album was still saved for when she ended TFM era.

I reckon she would have incorporated the singles released by April 10th had it been released then and maybe Enigma for obvious reasons but I doubt she'd have changed anything showwise for the sake of a few dates. So much work and money went into the staging and animations for the storylines and backdrops to change it. There would also be too slim rehearsal time for any new routines in between the hopeful promo she'd have been doing. I dont think much of the album would have been performed either.

Following the next hiatus however she would definitely have changed it to include the new album since the Chromatica tour was so small datewise.

It's a scrambled mess. She took advantage of promoting two albums at once, it's confusing where one begins and one ends. She was done promoting The Fame Monster after her VMA awards, but she was still promoting it on tour. Then she starts promoting Born This Way releasing singles and a having a new look while still on tour promoting The Fame Monster while still trying to promote her new album. 

Omg I have a headache. It was smart that she was able to promote two different albums but there is no official ending when The Fame Monster was over and when Born This Way started. They just collide with each other.

She probably would've moved Shallow to the piano section and make Stupid Love the finale, or perform Stupid Love after Born This Way before Shallow, or come back on stage after Shallow to perform Stupid Love ala a "second encore"

lol cause lets be real, there's no way with album promo & tour rehearsal that she would have time to make massive changes. My guess is the only change would be to add Stupid Love until after the Chromatica Ball and then completely revamp the Enigma set for late 2020/2021 dates (likely with announcement of new dates)

I think she was supposed to incorporate Chromatica songs to those last dates, then the Tour, then announce new dates featuring a revamped setlist.

Yeah I agree, and I think Britney Jean was rushed just so they can start the Vegas residency. Its obviously a horrible album that effected Britney's career. They should have instead released a greatest hits album instead with two new songs.

What do you all think the original plan was going to be? Were those last Enigma dates supposed to be a completely different show/concept? To me it would be weird to continue the residency without any Chromatica songs... especially since the album would have just been released only three weeks prior.

I reckon she would’ve removed government hooker & the David bowie song and maybe another one too - possibly BDR, and replaced it with SL, Enigma, & Babylon (since it’s already a greatest hit )
