BTW had some pretty long songs, but a lot of those songs you guys dislike and call “fillers.” Wait until you hear the full album to make a final judgment. Besides, we ALREADY KNEW THIS INFO! Admin already told us.

I dont mind a shorter album but I do worry about shorter songs. There's only so much you can do in 3 minutes. Some songs suit being short, but some songs need room to breathe. If every song is a similar length an album can start to feel a bit one-note, a bit mechanical, a bit cynical.

How dumb do you have to be, how short your attention span, for a 4 or 5 minute song to be too long?

Longer songs =/= more creativity and artistry. Those are two mutually exclusive things.

More time for instrumental breaks and solos? Sure, you can make that argument. That said, having an instrumental break or solo won’t make the song any better or worse. That’s just an element of the song.
