...huh?

16 tracks

3 interludes make "1 interlude"
so you only lost 2 tracks if you make 1 interlude

Oops my adhd brain went back and forth between 14 and 17 too many times and landed on the wrong one :ladyhaha:

reality’s tight if the music is right

I hate that I couldn’t even bother to decipher what this was LOL

In all seriousness, I think SL’s heavily manufactured pop song structure is cute and fun (absolutely killer second pre-chorus), but god almighty I personally would not want a whole album like that. Judging by the really short track lengths, I’m not sure what to expect anymore.

Bracing myself for BloodPop’s interlude collection featuring Lady Gaga

This is good for 13 songs and 3 interludes. It’s about 12 minutes or so shorter than ARTPOP.

With the bonus tracks it will be almost the same :nick:

I’ve heard speculation that he probably helped write the first pre-chorus (“freak out”/“get down”), because of his penchant for repetition.

I personally like the second pre-chorus more (“all I ever wanted was love”), but in the end, they’re incredible back-to-back.

I’d love to hear what mite they’d come up with, tbh! SL is far from being one of  my favorite Gaga songs, but it’s undeniably catchy as hell. The hooks are divine.

I know I’ve beaten this topic like a dead horse, but I’m still wondering more and more if she really relinquished more creative control to BloodPop (and other respective writers and producers for each song) this time around. Especially if she isn’t producing anymore.

It is effectively 13 tracks with interludes removed. I still take it tbh. They probably just being more effective and removing parts that usually makes songs too long. Maybe long instrumental part and stuffs.

So The Edge of Glory without the sax solo, Marry the Night without the keytar bit at the end, G.U.Y. without the intro, you see where I'm going with this? :bradley:

🌸Flourishing and vibrant🌼

Welcome to the streaming era.

As long as the songs sound full and feel long enough, I don't mind. I hate that the streaming era caused artists to make shorter songs tho.

please go listen to songs from the 50s and 60s. some of them were hardly over 2 minutes long

Longer songs mean more creativity and artistry, and time for important instrumental breaks and solos. That’s what made Born This Way brilliant and timeless. TFM also has that spark as well.

At the same time we already have those songs, they’re not going anywhere. This  shorter trend won’t last forever so why not embrace it while it’s here? :vegas:

Someday we may say “LG9 is so bloated and drags on.. why can’t she be clean and direct like she was on Chromatica :saladga:?”
