If Gaga's discography was reordered, would you still be a fan?

Honestly this is something I wonder a lot...

Let's pretend her discography went like this:

1. The Fame

2. Joanne

3. ARTPOP

4. The Fame Monster

5. Born This Way

6. Chromatica

How do you think this would change the way you consider yourself a fan? I feel like Joanne and ARTPOP were the most polarizing albums regarding how her fanbase viewed her, especially the ones who discovered her during The Fame era and started really stanning after The Fame Monster.

I probably wouldn't start hard-stanning till ARTPOP since what really hooked me in was Bad Romance and the whole weird/dark pop aesthetic which is somewhat present in ARTPOP... Born This Way wouldn't have nearly as big of an impact tho, on me and in general :vegas:

It's a joke! When you give me that look, it's a joke!

This would be interesting however

in this order Joanne simply doesn’t make sense - Joanne was a jump from ARTPOP because she needed to “save her career” a few steps at a time

putting it second after the fame just seems silly tbh

I debated on where to put ARTPOP and Joanne. Originally they were flipped.

Absolutely not since the pop landscape at the time was so focused on replicating Gaga and the electro pop sound, releasing ARTPOP and TFM after 2009-2010 would be seen as so behind

not to mention that Taylor was transitioning away from country and she was seen as “so country” Joanne would never have worked

please enlighten me to death

I've always thought that if Joanne and ARTPOP were swapped they both would have been much more successful.

Lady Gaga doesn't owe us anything

TF (2008)

Joanne (2009)

ARTPOP (2011)

TFM (2013)

BTW (2016)

CHROMATICA (2020)

ARTPOP would've smashed in 2011. Born This Way would sound a little dated, but with different mainstream EDM production, I can see it being successful.  I'd probably start stanning after ARTPOP.

It would be interesting but it just wouldn’t make any sense at all. Joanne was the result of stripping down her sound and her image after the mess that was ARTPOP.

I wouldn’t officially stan until ARTPOP tho. It would totally smash in 2011. TFM would be so interesting in ARTPOP’s place and BTW would sound dated.

I... I know it's a hypothetical but it doesn't make sense luv.

Paparazzi era led so seamlessly into Bad Romance era and that's when my STANHOOD was born.

Close the thread please.

I can't really see BTW working after AP or Joanne. However, I can see her doing a stripped back album after BTW. So instead of AP it'd be Joanne

TF, TFM, BTW, Joanne, ARTPOP

I'll WRECK U right Up...G.U.Y.!!!🌋💥
