DC 25,164 Posted May 19, 2020 Share Posted May 19, 2020 I wrote this song beginning-mid 2018. I made the first demo of the song in Audacity using drum samples, not loops, that I got online. They were the usual basic trap/tropical pop drum samples you’d hear in a song from 2013. Well I still loved it! I created the chorus based off of a melody I heard that someone made online a few years back, which some compare to Britney’s song I Wanna Go, but I must’ve wrote the lyrics to fit that theme without even realizing it, but it’s quite obvious to me know The first demo for it was made May 16, 2018 and even had a key change: () Well that was pretty much it. For over a year I didn’t even touch the song, I thought it was kind of meaningless and not very fitting for anything I made. But then I made the song Blue, in September 2019. The production AND the lyrical content reminded me a LOT of this song, NTIK. So finally in December 2019, I decided to remake Now That I Know in my music program that I know use. I made a topic on here containing the brand new version I created here on GGD and from what I remember a couple of people actually liked it!
