GGD has ruined the era for me

Just remember that while there is unfortunately always going to be negativity online, that does not mean that this negativity represents Little Monsters’ views as a whole. Just because some people don’t like Stupid Love doesn’t mean that Little Monsters in general hate Stupid Love, it just means some people commented on their disliking of it. Don’t let that lessen your own love of it. Sure, we can all have our opinions, but I understand that the negativity online can be a bummer when you’re really excited about what’s to come. I think this era has been phenomenal given the current global situation, and I think this album will be remarkable! Sometimes if I’m in a particularly good mood I’ll stay off of social media because I know that social media in general can be toxic. I’d recommend to just take negative comments with a grain of salt, don’t let other’s opinions ruin your excitement, just sit back and enjoy the music!

Don't let other people's opinions ruin what you like, specially strangers from a forum?? I try to be nice with my opinions, and don't attack Gaga as a person, or her team when I don't like things, but some people here aren't they just are harsh and mean, but that's them, it isn't you. Enjoy this era if you like it, share that you liked things. Everyone here seems to think Stupid Love sounds cheap or generic, but I love the song, so I just say I love it, I don't care if others here say it's trash, just enjoy it! 
Honestly, in this site you'll always find people tearing everything she does to shreds, you can't let that influence how you enjoy things

I do agree somewhat with what you wrote. There does seem to be a lot of negativity on this site and while I only joined GGD in the ASIB era, I do not remember fans being so negative then. The Chromatica era did have a lot of issues with leaking and then COVID happened. I can understand some fans being upset by this but I also do not like the abusive and hateful comments. I think it's okay for people to have opinions and provide constructive criticism as long as they are not being mean. 

The most important thing I should mention: DO NOT TO TAKE ANYTHING ON HERE SERIOUSLY. It is a pop forum dedicated to Gaga and some of us probably use GGD as an outlet to let our feelings and emotions out. With that comes a lot of users being overdramatic and sassy and that is okay. It is not that serious and you should not let this site ruin the Chromatica era for you.

Just a word of advice. I'm older than a lot of people here so I've been on many different social medias throughout the years and one thing I realized is that social media connects you to more people than your immediate circle. Even when I started out on Facebook after months being pestered by my friends, I come across negativity and that was only within my immediate social circle.

Back then, FB was only for you to connect to your friends and family, you only add people you know. But then I started branching out to Twitter, it was the same. Though now it's even worse since people find ways to lash out their negativity and their personalities are turned up 200% on there to attract attention, so it means the negativity is also 200% worse.

I joined GGD in 2017 after lurking around, reading posts since ARTPOP and Joanne era. Til now, I have come across so many negativity especially in between eras where people are constantly whining about things. I guess what I'm trying to say is, negativity is a constant. We just need to learn how to tune it out, not let it bother us too much and focus on the more positive things that you see. Focus on the music and art that Gaga puts out, give your opinion, share the excitement with those who shares the same and ignore the haters. You'll find more enjoyment using social media in this way.

In fact, it wouldn’t bother me now if she cancelled everything cause some of fans don’t deserve the music.

I know you’re gonna get some negative comments for this, but I just wanna say I agree. People will never be satisfied, and reading some of the comments on here make me start to believe them. The visuals for Chromatica so far have been on point. The song debuted Top 5 AND IS PLAYED ON THE RADIO ALL THE TIME!!! And we’re in a global pandemic!! We’re getting a music video Friday, also! That’s 2 videos already, each released on the same day as their single. These people were begging for that during Joanne. To those that say she doesn’t care, I think she cares deeply about the album, she said it cured her—I just don’t think she cares to engage in the drama anymore. @JOSHMATICA, just know there are SOME fans here that are positive and spread Gaga’s message of love. (also, Ik everyone makes mistakes, @ those who have posted negative content INfrequently. No one is perfect 💛) Anyway, excited to dance in the rain Friday 🌧🌧
