(it's not used so much for malaria these days, at least not as a first-line treatment). Anyway, he's not the one saying it, so take it with a grain of salt. And even if he did say it, don't believe everything he says. It's highly unlikely that someone like Trump would use it just for the sake of it, he's very smart when it comes to his own belly. It needs close medical supervision when administered to patients, which I'm sure trump has. However I'm sure most of his following will take it without any kind of medical supervision and this is why it's dangerous for him to mention it. Hydroxychloroquine is being used in patients with COVID however these patients are severe and on respirators and not asymptomatic. The first time trump mentioned hydroxychloroquine stock was bought out of most pharmacies and now I'm afraid they're going to start taking it.
