Gaga has perhaps become darker/jaded/injured after fighting for kindness for so long etc (hence the darker image and knife in her leg). The video is about her healing and “dancing through the pain” and maybe reaching a rainbow at the end of the storm (equilibrium + faith restored in Chromatica ).
