The director (Greg Berlanti)....I'm not sure he can pull it off even though the cast is excellent. Plus, the original is beloved so the new one will be held to a very high standard. Did not realize he's directing it. Wouldn't be surprised if that's why she turned it down. The writer seems to be a dud too. I think she would've done great in the role, but I don't blame her for turning it down (assuming it was actually offered to her in the first place) for reasons mentioned already. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Guardians of Galaxy 3 voiceover were either not serious, as she was rumored to be Bradley’s (Rocket Raccoon) love interest in the movie.
