Gaga's played with the "plastic" idea since before The Fame. It could mean a lot of things that are synthetic or "artificial". It can refer to non-analog electronic music (which Chromatica will heavily feature), plastic surgery, or even the concept of plasticity - that you can change permanently into something different (remember the whole shapeshifter thing Gaga did in 2019?).

During the years, so many concepts are put out on our faces that never see the light of day but yet we hype ourselves so much
