Underrated ICONIC Moments — Music Video Edition

Hi, all!  I was navigating through this beautiful place called GagaDaily and thought about those Gaga moments (in music videos–more editions coming soon ) that had everything to become ICONIC but–for some reason–are underrated or not as praised.

So, I thought I’d share mine here (one from each era, to keep it short) with you all! Please, feel free to discuss and even share your own. Let’s have some fun and make this place a fun and light one! 

Okay, let’s get to the business! 

From The Fame:

This moment was EVERYTHING and I think it’s not as praised. The glam, the sensuality, the mystery! Gurl, this was it! If you didn’t have your own pool–glam–fantasy after watching this: are you a real little monster?

From The Fame Monster:

This dress moment, gurl? EVERYTHING! There’s so many iconic moments from THE iconic video–people recreating the bubble eyes, the monster latex suit–but this dress, let alone the entire first shot–was ICONIC.

From Born This Way:

Those final seconds from the Born This Way music video are the best ones for me. ICONIC. In fact, I’ve always thought the video should’ve had more of this aesthetic throughout. I’LL GO FURTHER! I always thought the album aesthetic should’ve been THIS one, a unicorn–retro–glittery–alien–glam–fantasy aesthetic, instead of the baroque–dark–latex–oversaturated aesthetic we got. But ya’ll are not ready for this discussion.

This look? Nothing more to say.

From Joanne:

This entire video is underrated. But I think the humor side (humor is something that Gaga not always explore in her work, so it’s very refreshing) + the choreo are the two ICONIC things that are most underrated, in my opinion.
