Guest
The only reason I want a Telephone sequel is so people can stop speculating every song she puts out will be a Telephone sequel.

nightadieu 4,531
I feel like she’s over the sequel. Remember how she served a whole video trilogy in the Joanne era. That should make up for anything

If every visual was super literal, Gaga wouldn't have half of her videography. To complete the trilogy at this point could be awesome; the Paparazzi video was our introduction to the Gaga who would push every boundary to claw to the top of fame despite knowing the risks of it eating her alive. Telephone was Gaga at her peak, surrounded by the literal Queen B' and drowning in corporate product placements as she collected hit after hit. "Rain on Me" and Chromatica seem very much like they are beautifully intertwined with the ARTPOP saga. She tried to show us the girl behind the Aura in the finale, but was blocked by her label and the music she put out to the GP was rejected. I agree, I mean, if she had to be literal, would you have ever predicted Million Reasons' sequel to be the slayage that John Wayne's was? Me not for sure Everything could be everything (it could mean anything)
