This is so sad... I work in the Theatre Industry and I am so heartbroken. I know we will rise up and soar higher than ever, but... all this is just heartbreaking. 💔

i heard the frozen musical wasn't good. didn't like the new songs i heard.

but either way it is sad. Moreso for the musicals that actually were developing new ideas and not trying to be cash grabs.

Those are the ones that are closing left and right.

is it just because the show was not selling well? or because all theatrical/musical gatherings like concerts and plays cannot resume until 2021?

Post Pandemic, meaning the show isn’t returning. It’s cancelled officially

No, from what I’ve heard the numbers were good. They even refurbished the entire show last February, with new sets, new costumes, new cast and everything. They were ready to keep on going. This is all so sad.

wasn't it flopping already? they probably realized they need to be even tighter with budgets/resources post-pandemic and not waste money on shows that dont have good returns

Sad when a show closes, but the musical wasn’t great. I saw it. Felt more like a cash grab when I saw it. I love both of the movies. Other movies —> musicals do a better job like Aladdin and The Lion King.
