Lesbihonest though, her giving a date for the "leak" , a month early at that, is only to intimidate Interscope into giving a release date.

Now if Interscope falls for it is one question. And will Azealia keep her word if they don't is another.

thats what this whole thing is about

it just depends how long interscope will take to make a decision, i doubt we will get more than 2 songs

Chic

Watch her leak ATM Jam and then Interscope drops her and denies her the rights to her own music, then she leaves Twitter for a while and comes back four months later talking about new music that doesn't come out, and then a year down the line she'll have a webcam session where she spits a few verses of a song that'll never come out, and then it gets leaked six months later and turns out to be a watered down and highly disappointing version of it. Then a few months after that, she gets signed to a new label, and she officially releases a very GP-friendly pop song that ultimately disappoints the fans. The second single is received a little bit better but overall the album (which is released a few months later) is a huge letdown and Azealia is only seen working on other unknown artist's tracks before she eventually falls off the face of the earth for a long while, and announces her retirement after a long wait. A few years afterwards, she posts some new songs that are quite better than the ones from her one actually released album, but she is unable to crack the surface of popularity and fame. She releases a short EP of these songs and a mixtape (which has a bit more success than the EP), and ends up working with an artist on a semi-popular track. However, her career doesn't go anywhere after that and she disappears, only showing up every six months in a new candid of her in a way that shows she is done with her career. Amidst all of this would be a few Twitter feuds, including one that goes too far and prevents her from achieving fame despite the 15 minutes she gets from the controversy. All in all, she will be happier out of the spotlight that causes her so much stress.

You are aware the first half of that did occur right?

I didn't even understand most of what he was saying tbh. :D

Maybe it's a good thing she'll leak her album because by the time her label actually releases it, Rihanna would've released her 15th album, Gaga would be on ARTPOP Vol. 10, Natalia would've had a proper hit and Porcelain would actually get her album released.

On the other hand, I just think she's trying to scare her label into giving her a release date.

The thing I find so funny is that she rants on Twitter about how she's the best female rapper in the world but she can't get a hit or her album released. Her label clearly doesn't think she's gonna make them money because her music isn't appealing enough to an audience and demographic outside of her 'niche' market that people think she has.

Her 'niche' market is apparently LGB's and Hipsters - I thought she was more popular with Hip-Hop / Rap fans and I'm surprised she hasn't had another hit like 212 or bigger.

The niche worked for Lana
