I am nothing but nice to everyone on here and try to be nice in every comment that I post. I keep my negative opinions to myself because to me it's not worth boosting my post count for sheer negativity. However, sometimes I do just want to rant because the hate that Azealia gets is getting under my skin as of late. What she said about Gaga was, in my opinion, admittedly dumb.. it didn't even need to be said tbh and I don't agree with Azealia's critique in the first place, but in all reality, it wasn't even a big deal in the grand scheme of things. People thinking that it's okay for her to be in danger of assault or that it's no big deal how she grew up because at 22, "she's a grown up now" are just too much. I try to take a breath and realize that many (probably most) people on this site are younger than me (hell, Azealia is younger than I am) and that they have so much negativity that they constantly drag their own Queen (but hate anyone outside this site who make less critical comments), but it is at a point where I just need to let my frustrations out. I am going to go into this album release with my blinders on because there are so many people hoping for Azealia to fail before she's even really begun. I'd hate to see how bad the haters could become once she is rising in popularity (you know once someone is on top, the haters come out to knock them down regardless). I am here for her artistry and not just that, but because I believe in humanity, I am here for her- despite her apparent "character flaws"- some of us actually like for a person to be real and speak their mind and not just have a fake Hollywood smile and brown nose to further their career efforts. I am more excited than ever for BWET right now and I do not appreciate all of this negative energy killing my vibe. I am just glad to have found a little area here where there are a few others who can identify with Azealia's music (and even her personality traits) and I am more free to speak my mind. End of rant.
