If she was replaced with anyone else in Fancy it would still become popular. f.e. that girl MO, she sounds similar to Charli. Or anyone else. The chorus is catchy that's true but that's not the only factor in the songs popularity. Charli was nowhere to be found before Fancy. While Iggy's Work was #5 on US Digital Songs and #17 on UK singles, and it even became platinum in US and silver in UK. Bounce was #13 on UK singles. I usually don't like numbers and stuff and I don't really care about charts but you keep repeating that phrase about Charli giving Iggy a career which is so wrong. And after Fancy, Black Widow peaked at #3 on BB100 and it's almost double platinum. Just saying. You're so wrong in so many ways Charli wrote the chorus, so it would not be the same with another singer. The chorus is what makes the song catchy and memorable. Also, MO sounds like Charli because she tried to emulate her singing voice. Charli wrote Beg For It and the first version of the song had her as the singer instead of MO, but they exchanged it probably because Charli doesn't want to make Iggy more famous and still be her shadow. And I'm not saying that Charli attracted fans to Fancy, because she was really unknown when it first came out, but she is the one that made Fancy a hit.
