Introvert 0
Yung Rapunxel is by far some of the weakest work she has done. Like c'mon, how can you even like it...the production is a hot mess and totally drowns out her voice...you legit can't even hear what she's saying...and the chorus consists of her screaming a bunch of random **** which I also couldn't really even understand. So yeah...thumbs down for this one. Idk if she'll be able to top that 1991 EP... i feel like people say this ^ because they don't get it. its not a sound you like but it doesn't mean its due to poor production. its a certain style of production that just doesn't appeal to you. which is understandable. 1991 was easy to get into because its very pop driven using recycled house beats. i love it and for sure theres going to be some of that on the album as shes said so. but i enjoy her prodigy-esque side as well. but its not like i should be surprised that all the gay dudes online are b---hing at her to make an album full of variations on 212 and 1991 lol
Willy Wonka 4
She is not doing mainstream music though, if YP is anything to go by. So I doubt she will be some NIcki Minaj clone. I didn't mean commercially. But this is her make-it-or-break-it moment. I mean, I just want a beast of an album. One that is worthy of my stanning. I want her to come out with this insane album that is definite proof she can slay everyone else. One that justifies her Twitter wars hahahaha

So I wouldn't mind an album full of YRs, haha, I wouldn't even mind an album with Prodigy covers ( Azealia covering Breathe and Smack My Witch Up ) このジョルノジョヴァンナ夢がある
Dex 117
NIcki Minaj clone. Except she's collabed with about 10 different artists already....
Deacon 5
I feel the complete opposite. Yung Rapunxel is one of the best songs she has one. I love the aggressive instrumental and she handled it well with the scremo chorus. The beat wouldn't be right without it nor would the song be right without the beat. It is a match made in heaven. In the beginning, I did have a problem the volume of the vocals, weirdly, it seems the more I listen to the track the the more normal the vocal volume gets...but its going to get professionally fixed for the iTunes version anyway. The track is definitely a grower for many of the nay-sayers. I didn't even bother ripping it because I want to wait for the HQ iTunes file and the more soundcloud listens it gets the better. All of this. BRRRRRR-BRRRP-BRRRP-BRPPPPPP

And, she's technically a rapper, so it'd def be nice to be able to hear those lyrics....

Her recent tweets make me feel like she needs to start acting her age and turning her attitude down she is acting her age. shes 21. and yes she does need to turn the attitude down. but what annoys me is that everyone comes at azealia for her attitude, when nicki has been old as **** this whole time spouting out immature bull**** about kim and whoever and starting **** with djs and acting like a b---h even though shes hardly solidified, pulling gender and race cards left and right with no validity. but azealias being pegged as the biggest b---h in the business thats ruining her career. okay. ALX 170
^^ I agree. My friends have said Azealia is now a parody of herself with people wondering who she's gonna beef with next instead of her music. Azealia delivers so I don't care she's doing it. I'm already preparing myself for album reviews that trash the album based on her rather than the quality of material
EchoKey 2
I don't think that Azealia will become BIG. I think when her album is released, her audience will grow, but she's never censored herself and I don't think she would in order to get mainstream success. I think if she were to succeed in the mainstream, it would be AS IS, and I don't think that the world is ready for that, sadly enough. she is acting her age. shes 21. and yes she does need to turn the attitude down.but what annoys me is that everyone comes at azealia for her attitude, when nicki has been old as **** this whole time spouting out immature bull**** about kim and whoever and starting **** with djs and acting like a b---h even though shes hardly solidified, pulling gender and race cards left and right with no validity. but azealias being pegged as the biggest b---h in the business thats ruining her career. okay. She and Kendrick Lamar are in the same situation except he refuses to comment on people that say anything negative. They brought the mainstream to them, they didn't bow to the mainstream. They will always have a following despite lack of immense success.
