Most albums that are released by household, label-backed, well-known artists typically skyrocket to #1 upon their release. She also doesn't have the luxury of a pre-order effect. Not to mention the fact that Azealia Banks has been a fading name for the past 2 years. The fact that her album went Top 3 on iTunes without a label to back her, without any well-known singles and with one song on the track list that was big 2 years ago says something.
