I don’t get the correlation, France introduced the law that forbid veils (arguable if that’s right or wrong) WHY should they allow women to wear that again because of corona?

Tbh face masks don’t help prevent anything, all they do is force you to inhale your own toxins that your body releases through exhaling, coughing and sneezing. Do you guys think it’s safe for an individual to inhale their own carbon dioxide?

I don't think it's islamphobic, it's simply a means to stop religious iconography in the public space, especially places such as education. Education should be free from religious bias. It's not restricted to just muslim faith etc but to ALL religions. You can't wear crosses, kippahs etc. 

...so if you claim they are islamphobic they are also phobic against all religions by that logic.

Face masks protect other people from your germs, and to a much lesser extent protect you from other people's germs, though it's definitely the former that's more significant. If everyone wears them, you can be near someone who has coronavirus and sneezes, and the likelihood of you catching the virus from the person would still be very low. I don't have the stats handy, but they significantly reduce transmission, as we can see from how well East Asia has managed to flatten the curve. 

Also, if you are inhaling germs that already are in your own body, it's not going to make you sick. 

About masks forcing you to inhale your own carbon dioxide, if you're wearing a cloth mask or even just a surgical mask, that's not going to happen, because the particles are small enough to get through, plus the mask doesn't have a tight enough seal.

You can still quite easily breathe in other people’s toxins even with a mask on, sure it stops you from coughing or sneezing directly onto people or objects, but it causes a lot more damage to the individual wearing it

well regardless of how you answer proves how much you don’t know what you’re talking about, the question isn't about what muslims do but what islam tells them to do, that same religion that asks women to wear hijab bc they’re not equal to men tell its believers to throw ppl of same sex that have sex from the highest building in town.

most of you are missing the point

 

this ban exists because if you're not a muslim woman you're not allowed to cover your face in some points (like govt buildings, banks, etc.) for surveillance/security reasons.

it doesn't make sense to allow a burqa then not a cap or a scarf/sunglasses/both covering part of your face, it's literally discriminatory. and the ban affects christians aswell, not only muslim people. 

if they un-ban the burqas during the pandemic, since it makes sense to wear it to protect yourself or others, they'll have problems banning it again if we ever go back to "normal".

 

so regardless of your point of view, regardless if you're islamophobic, if you just don't want to mix the real world & modern society in 2020 with religion and middle age standards, if you want everyone covered from head to toe, this is beyond that, especially because it's part of the isis etc. terrorist attacks aftermath.
