Lorde is from NZ so it makes sense she wants to release the album when NZ enters Friday. Same thing with Harry releasing SOTT at 12am in London. Just like today Charli XCX's new album is already available in NZ, China and so on, but Katy Perry's single is not. The leak is usually from physical copies that need to deliver to the stores before the release date. It's really uncertain this time with the pandemic, hope it will not leak.
