Morphine Prince 109,683
WI07 is a red district, no surprise there. CA25 was Katie Hill's district which she flipped so this isn't exactly a surprise either.
stevana229 1,916
Mike Garcia is a very moderate Republican. He campaigned on not being a yes man to any president. He seems like he will do well. Although I can already hear Trump bashing him eventually calling him a RINO

DeleteMyAccount 11,881
Republicans winning Republican districts. My home area too. Surprise. Although, Katie Hill's scandal did not help this entire situation for her district... She won by 7 pts if I recall.
Popo 3,781
dems will probably flip CA25 back in November, it's a pretty low turnout event especially for the dem base which are low propensity younger voters, especially without someone on top of the ticket. Turnout from the usual older whiter republican base was expected.
Bt1 5,213
If the republican wins California, the democrats are in danger. Democrat Katie Hill won with a 9% difference just last year, Hillary won with a 7% difference in 2016 and now the republican has a 12% lead.

She lost by 12 points despite mail-in ballots being given to everyone in the district + voting stations opening in large blue areas. She lost because people don't like her or her "platform", whatever it is. They need someone else to run against him (not Cenk). ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀
Lion Heart 15,041
I guess endless shutdowns, closing down parks and beaches, and running a corporate Democrat with no platform isn't a winning strategy. ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀

Minorities and young people just can't be bothered to drop off their vote in their postbox while older people do, they'll show up to vote in a presidential election year. Just look at how Karen Handel won in GA06 and then lost her seat in the mid-terms to a dem. Election handicappers are also favouring the dem candidate regardless of who it is, don't forget hillary clinton carried the district by 7 points in 2016.
