  1. 1. Would you be satisfied if Gaga recorded Future Nostalgia?

    • Yes, it surpassed my expectations for a Gaga album.
    • Yes, it matches my expectations for a Gaga record.
    • No, Future Nostalgia is good but it's not on Gaga's level.
    • No, Future Nostalgia is not good whether for Gaga or Dua.

Princess Zelda

I listened to like a bit more than half of it and I really don't get what people find so amazing. It's all right :smh:

Damn right I do. Not only is The Fame better than ARTPOP but so is Future Nistalgia. Retro 80s synthpop never goes out of style while edm trends the past decade that ARTPOP was following aged like milk.

My 80s inspired taste >

Not on Gagas level?

Is Stupid Love on Gagas level? Or The Cure?

If Chromatica will be half cohesive and well produced as FN, I'll be happy.

The Cure was a great single along with Stupid Love, watch yo mouth

But I do agree some fans here are deluded into thinking Gaga's level is somehow beyond current pop music. Her music isn't exactly experimental in the pop realm.

It’s not a Gaga album. Doesn’t sound like her, her vocals are very manufactured. It’s like a hybrid Madonna hung up album mixed with Selena Gomez and Rihanna’s voice. Even then it’s like a boot leg of all those combined.

Government hooker and Bloody Mary? Judas’ lyrical content isn’t experimental? Sure Jan.

Government Hooker has a cool techno beat, Bloody Mary is just midtempo rave music, Judas melody is basically Bad Romance.

Lyrically, one song is about sex, one is a dark religious theme song, along with Judas. I get what she was trying to do with Judas lyrically, but it didn't work for me.

Now if we're talking about the electronic band The Knife and Fever Ray's solo music, then we'll talk about experimental music.

Stupid Love is better than DSN, Physical and BMH.

Dua is so overrated here :saladga:

I know we gays want a new queen but Dua will never be on top list

Physical and Don’t Start Now are the only good songs from the album :trollga:

Hallucinate :awkney:

But experiemental music =/= quality.

Otherwise Sophie's cling clang music would be nominated for Album of the Year.

I agree, her music is really weird. But if you combine her beats with better written lyrics and a pop melody and someone whose a better singer, it'll sound great.

They are pop music?
