If his aide tested positive for coronavirus, and Pence tested negative, why would he need to self isolate? the only reason isolation after exposure is recommended for the public is bc we don’t have enough testing for everyone who might’ve been exposed—but since pence works for the WH, he as access to immediate testing Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Of course he does because it’s all about image and self-preservation on Trump’s behalf that is. He can’t afford to get sick or look weak to his base otherwise he’ll be forced to take it more seriously...which I doubt that would even happen regardless of how many WH staff get sick. They can have all the testing in the world; with how random people’s immune systems respond there’s no telling what would happen to any of them. Don’t forget over the weekend he was bragging about one of his golf courses opening this weekend in California while the death count is officially over 80,000 here. The article I read this morning about Birx and Fauci kinda having reduced appearances now basically tells us that the government is placing us in an “either/or” scenario.
