This virus does not discriminate. I live in Massachusetts and have chosen to self isolate in a separate private area of my father’s new home in Ft. Lauderdale metro area. The reason for this is because he moved down here all alone due to work and I knew he’d appreciate the company + I’ve been landscaping for him. Installed a fence, mulched, etc... Feel like I’m stepping into a different world here tho. Even while the rest of Florida is beginning phase 1 of reopening... I digress. Went to the beach in Naples the other day cause that area was open. Felt normal again, or starting to.. Family members have gotten it and are in hospital in Boston. I feel much more comfortable down here, but also in fear that it isn’t being taken as seriously as it is in Massachusetts. Then again, our numbers there are doubled. 
 

 

do not fly unless you have to. My flight was at full capacity - something I did not expect. Hear it from me first, cause I saw first hand. Whether u know me or not - I’m always available thru DM to share. Lesson learned.

 

p.s. Would rather be in quarantine in sunny Florida than in New England kthxbye

Well at least they are taking precautions and taking it seriously.  Problem with going out places is we will never know who we come in contact with. I went to Target today, after my state "opened" back up yesterday, they were busy.  I went in for bananas and vitamins.

thats good that hes isolating- however, why did he wait to do it? why wasn't he and everyone else isolating ??

bc he has a job to protect the country. just like everyone else in washington. the doctors arent self isolating are they?

I get that, but one of the tweets says "He will telework for 2 weeks but might go into his office with no one else there" 

why wasn't he and anyone else who's able to isolate & work via telephone or video doing that already?

Because of the Coronavirus task force. He's been working with the administration and doing the press conferences. Now any work will be over video conference. Though there probably won't be much since Trump is planning to quietly shut down the task force throughout the month.
