Because technically the Stupid Love leak was an old demo too (from January 2019) and it ended up being the unmixed/unmastered album version There are differences though 1. Unlike SL where the vocals and the instrumental were both mixed and mastered and it sounded like a finished product, FW leak needs more mastering on the vocals since the instrumental is louder 2. The lyrics in the second verse sound like placeholder lyrics. She talked in her PAPER magazine interview that the song is also about her LGBTQ friends lifting her up during tough times. There are no lyrics about that on the leaked track 3. Several insiders and GGD moderators have confirmed that it's apparently an early demo from 2018 Hope this makes sense. I mean we literally wouldâve already had the album out for a MONTH..... The era is going to be far from perfect but I would just be grateful that this album is coming at all (no shade/rudeness intended). I'm worried actually, for what the this new album will sound like. Even tho I liked quite some songs on Joanne, that album wasn't my thing. The era 2016 - 2018 traumatised me for being so different from 2009 - 2014, because she got so normal. Now all this chromatica stuff is so bright, poppy, and creative again, I don't know what to think. I wanna be excited, and I am but not ennough, because I'm afraid I won't like it. I love the easthetic. I haven't heard FW yet, but if it's indeed a retro 90s sound, I hope it won't be too retro. I was hyped the first week when SL got released. But after such a long silence again, it feels like being stuck at the beginning of a rolarcoaster which is said to restart in only a few minutes because of a techtical problem...
