Darla paid Alus to make a song with the phrase “rain on me”. Alus sent her the demo and Darla then spliced it up and “leaked it” to trick us all. (We all fell for it don’t lie) Apparently it was all a part of a social experiment about hits only becoming hits when a popular artist sings them. Spoiler To be honest, it is so true and we should really support independent artists more… this girl is dropping 52 songs this year (one a week) and is unsigned.. Let’s help stream and get this girl signed! She also helped the album get more hype and promotion (Darla/Rain on me was trending for a bit and multiple videos on youtube of the snippet got over 100k views) Maybe we should thank Darla after all because if it wasn’t for her, we wouldn’t have this bop! And she helped bridge the gap between Gaga’s silence and the official announcement.. ALL HAIL DARLA! I encourage everyone to watch the video it’s actually interesting and hints at Darla’s true identity.. Some of us also made a cameo lol STREAM REIGN!
