Because of that Bad Romance ranked below Tik Tok on the Hot 100 on the chart of December 26th, 2009. Bad Romance sold 183,000 copies versus 182,000 for Tik Tok and was no.6 on Radio Songs with 1.6 million audience impressions more than Tik Tok. However, because Tik Tok was streamed three times as much on AOL and Yahoo! as Bad Romance that week it ended up at no.2 while Bad Romance fell to no.3 If they could include those streams why not those from YouTube? Her song Jolene is also actually inspired by a little girl called Jolene at one of her shows, and it’s actually about how younger singers come along and replace older ones- specifically female singers.
