I'm really worried to see what's gonna happen over there after lockdown, when their economy is up the **** and half their population is unemployed... I can picture mass homelessness, slums, riots, murdering sprees... I don't wanna even think about it. I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. Thomas P 18,479 Posted May 7, 2020 Share Posted May 7, 2020 I’m Canadian, and I visit the states all the time. I’ve never felt scared, because people are always so nice, and it feels like home. It’s stories like these that make me thank god that I was born an hour north of the border. It’s a beautiful country with beautiful people, but it’s also a country that’s become comfortable with mass shootings and petty violence. This story is so sad, but one of the saddest parts is that it’s not surprising something like this happened. I truly feel sorry for the families, and anyone whose been affected.
