If someone risks the lives of people just to not feel lonely, then yeah, they’re an ásshole.

Apparently no one on this site broke one single rule during this period. :triggered:

I can't speak for others, but I haven't.

I'm not judging those who have, but most of my friends and family members in real life are adhering to the rules. I only know of one friend who hasn't. I realize everyone's circumstances are different, and some people may be in situations where it's more challenging for them to abide by every single role (for example, if someone lives alone and is incredibly lonely and depressed).

and how exactly seeing one person in your private home puts the lives of "people" at risk? If you choose to see only this person, and you know there is strong chances you dont have covid because you've been isolating for more than 2 weeks, how is that an issue?

Im glad I live alone because I would have killed a roommate by now, but this level of isolation is rough and it’s a constant downward spiral. If I had friends or anything I probably would have seen them by now. I do go over to my parents house still but I do most of their shopping so it’s justifiable

Yep, and that's why I said everyone's situation is different. I'm sheltering in place with my parents so that I'm able to help them, but if I were by myself, I have no idea if I'd end up"breaking the rules" or not. I don't really have any friends in this area,  and everything is closed but the grocery store anyhow, so it's not like I have tons of temptation – plus, I need to be extra careful because I don't want to infect them – but in different circumstances I might make different choices.

I really only judge covidiots who are having covid-19 parties or the jerks who refuse to wear masks in public (it's mandatory in my state) and aren't respecting physical distancing. I mean, I am a judgmental b*tch at heart, so I have to have something to judge within reason.
