I used to like Nicola alot, but hes working with her now and his work is horrible! How can someone who created all these amazing things with Gaga do this?

Because she literally asked him to ? Like she wanted Enigma to look like it was ?

It's kind of tiring to see all of you trash her collaborators and give them full credit in the things Little Complainers hate while she was the one who said 'yes' to it at the end of the day.

Well this thread is about Nicola, so why would I bring up Gaga? And I disagree that its all what Gaga wants. Its a collaboration for a reason.

I heard by an insiders who works for Netflix that she was forced to say yes...

But even look at the Stupid Love behind the scenes. She had this *incredible* pink body suit that is really really stunning and goes, "we'll put a motorcycle jacket over it." That totally changes the look and was Gaga's call. It's collaboration, but at the end of the day she gets final say for her vision.

Eli Russel Linnetz work is unrightfully shamed because of Enigma.

The Enigma stage design is great imo (keep in mind it's such a small venue, a more complex stage wouldn't had done it) and the concept is not that bad... it's just badly executed.

The neon aesthetic is something I live for, I like the story, the simulation, the PetGa reworking, I love some of the costumes and the props, and some of the lighting is incredible. The piano section is just so good, classic gaga, and the opening is also great when she flies down, it's becoming a classic for her.

What I don't get is all the rest... the script, the overall makeup, the choreos which she finds herself doing alone or going around the stage in a cringey way, the actual disconnection between the storyline and more than half of the tracklist.

It would've been a GREAT concept if they "polished" it from half of the storyline, half of the speeches, half of the costumes and half of the choreos. It would have been a simple showcase of her hits and some fan favourites with a futuristic spin given by PetGa (I know it's called Enigma don't @ me lol) and amazing props and costumes.

Overall, Eli was the creative director for Enigma, and that's why I'm saying it's just like he's a good creative director, he had the concept for it. It was just developed quite badly by the team.

But wouldn’t he be directing it so the execution ultimately falls on him? I’m not giving him hella shade here, just saying that a director is responsible for how stuff turns out.
