Well, we in the middle of a pandemic. If the circumstances were different, the album wouldve been released a long time ago. But right now, artists, brands, small businesses, doctors, leaders, they're all piloting a plane in a dark foggy night, they don't know what the future holds. It's a very uncertain time therefore uncertain date, delayed projects etc... I thought that'd make sense for most people

I think it's great she's doing this zoom graduation or whatever, it's great that she's asking for donations, it's great she organised and raised all that money to fight the pandemic. That isn't the issue. The issue I personally have, and that I think a lot of people also do, it's the silence. The no signs of life, radio static, dead silence. She wanted to push back the album to find "solutions" (without acknowledging the commercial aspect too but okay), and made it understand that once that was over the campaign would resume. But now we are in May, the benefit was two weeks ago, the album is allegedly coming in three weeks and still nothing.

She still isn't saying anything, everything that was posted about the album has been in reaction to leaks, we still haven't heard from her when the new date is and we still don't know anything about the obvious tour cancellation. Literally every sign we had from her is that she seemingly doesn't care about the album, so why should we? I mean, we  will all automatically stan the second she posts that release date, but just think how much easier and how different the optics would be had she tweeted something

That's obviously a discussion you can't have in this place without being labeled "entitled", "selfish", "negative" etc and im prepared for the shower of sad reactions or that user calling me pressed or whatever. But there is nothing wrong in sometimes taking the stan goggles off and evaluating things. It's super amazing she's mobilising, nobody is doing it like her. But the way they've handled this is a mess and she's leaving the fanbase in shambles
