Hybrid AT 78 Posted May 8, 2020 Share Posted May 8, 2020 Here's what she needs to do (I'm not a music professional btw so don't come for me ) Keep the first 2:15 unchanged, cut the following "I'm a free wom-ay-ay-ay-ay-ay-an" belts (2:16 to 2:29), transition smoothly to keep the stuttering bridge (the I want want to be be be free free free forever baby part), the final chorus, then keep one final set of "I'm a free wom-ay-ay-ay-ay-ay-an" belts in the outro (3:05-3:19) and end it with Be.Free. I calculated and this would make it -15, +3, -20 seconds or 32-33 seconds shorter All this if she wants to cut this (aka masterpiece) to 3:11 "I was protected by the monks of Azarath, I was raised by my friends. ARTGOD 3,266 Posted May 8, 2020 Share Posted May 8, 2020 For the umpteenth time, the Stupid Love leak is not the same as the final version and you don’t even need to be a music producer to notice, all you need is decent headphones. There are dozens of little changes throughout the song, and while I couldn’t pinpoint them at first I definitely thought “this is different” when I heard the final version. The final track is much cleaner and tighter. This leak sounds even rougher than the SL leak did, so there’s no way in hell it’s the final version. Even if it sees no structural changes (though some are saying it will in the final version) the album version will most likely sound much cleaner and all of the quirks will be sorted out. I like Free Woman so far and I know I will like it even if it’s drastically different because I am one of the rare liddos who thinks every song from the iTunes festival was better in the album version. For example, when Gaga did the iTunes Festival, she sang the demo versions of Aura, Manicure, Jewels n' Drugs, Swine, Sex Dreams and IWBWY, and guess what? They were all better than the final versions, except for Manicure. That's why I hate this! When the final version of FW comes out I'm sure a lot of people will say: the FW demo was better, I don't like the new beat, I don't understand why she cut 40 seconds off the song...
