I think my biggest fear already happened in that Chromatica was meant to be about joy and happiness, but with everything that’s happened it’s kind of impossible for that to be the case now.

Not the bore worms!

Nobody is doing sounds like what Stupid Love sounds like. She is not following trends at all,

I could list so many song from like 2017 to this day that have that ugly kind of chorus if i only didn’t do my best to avoid them and forget them cause of how annoying they are

ts a 90s House influenced album, obviously some songs aren't going to have a fully written chorus... thats the nature of the genre

So what is the truth?:oprah:

Those songs sound different to Stupid Love. Those songs followed a more tropical house trend, Stupid Love is 90s House with disco influences :vegas:   there is a huge difference

Honestly i don’t like FW at all and i really doubt she changed the whole song so that’s basically already a skip for me. I need choruses!

Well she can't please everyone. I skipped most of ARTPOP. I'm pretty sure I'll survive another album if it's that bad for my personal taste. Not a big deal.

We pretty much know already that it’s not going to be dark(the album is literally called Chromatica) and edgy( I don’t think edgy when i think Ariana grande and Max martin) so... sorry to disappoint. Hopefully she’s going to explain the concepts a little better. I was not satisfied how simple the SL “concept” was.

I guess I also mean layered (mm, onions) like, the whole concept being moderately thought provoking since I already get Ghost in the Shell, Neon Genesis Evangelion, etc vibes. The whole mood can be bright and uplifting but that is also possible with depth, ingenuity, curio, 'n mystique,, I just need Easter eggs and things to chew on,, not 100% optimism and kindness,, lul

No lyrical chorus =/= no chorus at all.

Its a 90s HOUSE record, the songs follow that trend. DANCE and HOUSE music rely heavily on a GREAT instrumental, and very LITTLE lyrics in the chorus. Stupid Love has an INSTRUMENTAL chorus

That it is another ARTPOP in terms of a massive creative and interesting concept but that isnt reflected in the music or the era. I.e. no unity or cohesion.

One can argue the stupid love billboard and video graphics, enigma show interludes music and visuals etc and overall sorta 00's aesthetic are all indicative of the visuals and its vibe but will the music match that? ARTPOP had massive ideas that didnt come to fruition. She's put a lot of metaphor and points of interest into her discriptions of the album, but will they actually be there? TFM and BTW and even Joanne's coehesion and overall sound (imo) reflected and married with their respective visuals incredibly well, so I hope Chromatica follows this because the visuals Ive seen so far have me BTW level hyped for this era.

Yeah, a chorus that I can’t even sing. I have to mimic that sound with like “da da da” and it’s pretty annoying to me :huntyga:

Whatever, i’m glad you like it that much. It’s not even that bad but i just expected way better from a Gaga lead single

I get that. I honestly love the aesthetic of the cover and i’d like that mood to be represented in songs and hopefully outfits (if we ever get to see them)

It's called a drop. Not a chorus.
