Biggest fear for Chromatica?

Lack of creativity.

With this album it really feels like she’s following trends. SL sounds like a basic pop song that could be anyone’s and it also has that annoying instrumentals chorus that bad songs have had for years. Also the Ariana and BLACKPINK collab and the fact that she worked with Max Martin. I think this album is definitely going to have some bops but it will also sound very generic and not GAGA imo. Also i hate the fact that she included interludes, we all know those are just going to be fillers. I really thought this album could dethrone ARTPOP as my fave but ARTPOP is not bothered at all

Based on Stupid Love and the fact that there's an Ariana collab (ATTACK ME I DONT CARE), I'm afraid it won't be a creative/interesting album.

Also when the f is she gonna announce it and then when will it finally come out. Also will the delay have been worth it or will she literally do stuff she could have done anyway..

Bloodpop can do great stuff sometimes imo, look at A-Yo. But yeah, i also fear it’s going to be generic

No fear. If I don't like sth I just move on. Some people have written the album or certain tracks off already. Like "yeah Replay has the most basic title it's the weakest track". Wtf how can you know that?

That she will just put out the album and no art to go with it, a short era. In some way’s I’d prefer to wait longer and for Gaga to fullfill her original plans.

Honestly i don’t like FW at all and i really doubt she changed the whole song so that’s basically already a skip for me. I need choruses!

We pretty much know already that it’s not going to be dark(the album is literally called Chromatica) and edgy( I don’t think edgy when i think Ariana grande and Max martin) so... sorry to disappoint. Hopefully she’s going to explain the concepts a little better. I was not satisfied how simple the SL “concept” was.

My biggest fear is that we have to wait months and months and that it'll flop. I'm definitely going to love this album, if stupid love is any indicator. I do think there'll be more experimental tracks on the album which is why she's saving them for release.

Why do people think its going to be basic? Stupid Love is far from basic, Ariana Grande in not a basic artist. Bloodpop is a great producer and his productions are not generic. 

Nobody is doing sounds like what Stupid Love sounds like. She is not following trends at all, infact, she could even bring back 90's house trends   even if you were looking for something even more edgy, Babylon sounds like its not that commercial. This album is going to be probably her most accessible album, but this does not mean its going to be basic or generic, or bland. And it certainly does not mean that it lacks creativity or that she lacks creativity. 

She is doing exactly what she did in The Fame era; bringing sounds that aren't commercial, sticking them in a blender and making them accessible. 

Its a 90s House influenced album, obviously some songs aren't going to have a fully written chorus... thats the nature of the genre. It doesn't mean that it lacks creativity or that its bland, and if you don't like it you can always just move on. But its so annoying seeing fans complain about not having a lyrical chorus... its not THAT big of a deal   

 

I do believe that this will be her best album yet
