Sarah Tanno Talks About Hate Comments

Some of y'all don' like her work. That's fine, but that doesn't change the fact that she's an award-winning makeup artist to one of the biggest stars in the world. People criticizing her on Instagram isn't going to get her fired, nor is it going to persuade her to change her work; all it's going to do is hurt her feelings and probably also piss off Gaga. 

I watched her IG live, and she said the reason she doesn't read comments aloud when she has a guest on is because she doesn't want to be caught off guard by the mean ones. There's no need to be hurtful. You don't have to like her work, but you also don't need to hurt her feelings.

I literally just said she had an addiction problem and she was a terrible influence and that's a fact. I used that argument separately. I also said she had good looks too. What I critiqued her on was that she tried to make Gaga look like her and paint her face like her. That was my critique about her makeup skills, which is separate from her addiction problem. You're really trying hard to twist yourself into pretzels to find an argument to latch on and that you have to twist other's statements to justify your own argument. Sad.

yeah I'm always negative because I commented one opposing opinion in weeks if not months  Freddy got worse comments back in 2014 and he never fed the trolls and they stopped coming at him. You can think about it  realistically or get triggered and call people negative, your choice

I’ve once done the « she must be fired for this makeup » comment 

but it’s a colorful way to say the makeup was bad.

I did not write it on her profile, it’s was a different conversation.

She should stop giving this much importance to internet comments and start to shed some light on those who support her work.

The second I made you look bad, you called me a "liar". I don't like Sarah's makeup on Gaga, if you have a problem with that, that's on you. But don't come for me saying that it's "wrong", when you did the same a few minutes ago in a different thread to Tara.

I agree, but to an extent. This fanbase has gotten more toxic over time.

Taylor has makeup artists. Rihanna has makeup artists. Katy has makeup artists. Their looks are sometimes messy too. Yet they don't receive a commensurate amount of hate. Maybe people do need to check their online behavior. If this wasn't virtual, nobody would dare to say it on her face without getting smacked. But because it's online and you can adopt this cool and edgy persona, it becomes okay for people to spread hatred and cyberbully. No. If people try to send her hatred and death threats on her own page just because she didn't get a look right here or there, that's never okay.

At this point hurting her feelings is the only purpose.... Brandon talk her about positivity, and not letting negativity and what others have to say about you get under your skin, being it negative or positive. Maybe he knew she needed to hear it. In fact I think she seemed a bit down today, but maybe it was just my impression.
