That’s fine. I can even settle for August if that’s what was formally communicated. Just waiting for an email at some point this month advising the Chromatica Ball shows have been rescheduled for 2021.

I kinda hope the tour gets cancelled really

I’d be shocked if it happens altogether but I sincerely doubt it. She wouldn’t put her fans at risk. Summer 2020 release for the album and tour in 2021 makes more sense the more I think about it. It’ll probably be the same approach with BTW where the album dropped in 2011 but the tour didn’t start until 2012.

yeah. I just think people could do with the money and will Gaga really have time to tour Chromatica next year considering she has to finish Enigma and film that Gucci movie (?)

I genuinely feel that if she would communicate or tell us the date then the fanbase would stop being so hostile towards her (and Haus Labs)

But I don't understand being hostile to her/Haus in the the first place. This is an unprecedented situation. As a fan, the saddest thing I can imagine is having an entire Gaga era live and die within my four walls. I could only imagine how Gaga and co. must feel having built and planned all this wonderful music, art and experiences just to open the gates halfway and ...wait.

This climate is a vaccuum: Dua just released an album and if you told me it actually went up in January, I'd believe you! Fiona Apple just released whats being called a 10 out of 10 by many. Sadly, it too will probably be dust in our cultural memory by June. I completely understand Gagas/any artists reluctance to just give up a carefully thought out vision to basically dump it all into a void.

I don't know why ppl are demanding what would only be a subpar version of her vision. I would wait through 2021 to convene safely and scream and sweat and cheer and be one big mass of humanity lost in the music again.

I have no interest in a Diet Chromatica

We've survived our entire lives without Chromatica, we'll be fine waiting a little longer

This gave me chills the other day.😍💖😭To be in a crowd of 1000s singing as one, I'd wait for that.

I think people are becoming hostile because they're frustrated and want answers and we're receiving radio silence off Gaga/haus

I mean she did recently post “You’re my favorite” “A message from Chromatica” She also changed her profile pics and headers on social media I doubt she’ll push it further than may (or early June) things are starting to open back up society is resuming on the bright side with all this hype she’s got herself another #1 album in the bag 💼 no ****ing doubt hope she’s able to roll out the era the way she planned ❤️🌈 as an artist she’s entitled to presenting it in her time & not by force through **** low quality leaks Audrey Hepburn GIF by Turner Classic Movies

I don’t think we will get anything in May because it just feels too soon to the original date. What progress has truly been made since April 10th? I think July is a better bet, as sad as it seems. And I think the tracklist was just to give us something, since it was leaked anyways. I hope I’m wrong

She only delayed the album because 4/10 was literally the statistical peak of the virus hitting her home state of NY. She wanted to focus on One World, which she did. May to July is no different. There are several outlets Gaga has for media and promotion. Multiple insiders having confirmed May, and Gaga even teased something on Friday. Why we continue to expect the album in July/August is ludicrous

People are frustrated, in part, because they psych themselves up with "fake" insiders and such or because they make assumptions without recognizing the assumptions are based on guess-work.

The original April date—about a year and half after ASIB and three and a half years past Joanne—made a lot of sense. However, fans had convinced themselves she was going to release Summer '19 even though she was still in the studio....so when she didn't release they became frustrated or convinced she "scrapped the album". You can see the same cycle occurring once again.

Right now, there are a ton of albums that have been delayed so getting angry at Gaga for delaying just seems...bizarre...especially since she recently raised at lot of $$$. This is my own assumption, but I do think late May/early June makes a lot of sense....but if it doesn't come, it doesn't come. COVID-19 has obviously impacted the music world, and unless all the other delayed albums suddenly get release dates and Gaga's the only one holding out it doesn't make much sense to get all riled up.

I do feel like people keep ignoring that the second week of April was predicted to be the worst peak for COVID-19 in NYC. Even before she announced the delay, I kind of suspected it might happen based off the estimates about how the deaths would dramatically increase in early-mid April.

I don't believe insiders, but late May-June does make sense simply based off how the restrictions are slowly being lifted in various areas. Newscasters are beginning to go back in the studio, stores in some areas are starting to "slowly open," etc.

Edited: Also, Blackpink is coming in mid-June. From a business standpoint (if restrictions are semi-lifted), it makes sense for Interscope to release Chromatica before then because the Blackpink stans stream a lot...and the streams will help Chromatica. However, if the Gaga/Blackpink collab comes out after the Blackpink album their fans won't spend as much time streaming the Gaga collab because they'll be streaming the Blackpink album non-stop.
