Regina George 59,387 Posted May 3, 2020 Share Posted May 3, 2020 Okay so I don't know if you ever feel this way about some musicians but it's the feeling when even tho you like their music and style you think they lack something and you just can't explain what.. It's like they are not full package and never seem to completely satisfy you.. I have quite a few artists that make me feel this way but I'll mention only three: Sam Smith: Their music is not bad and their style seems authentic but whenever I see or hear them I just think something is missing and I'm like: "meh" Demi Lovato: Great voice, has some AMAZING songs, great videos, okay performances.. But I feel like there is still something missing and she doesn't have star quality about her... Cardi B: Good songs, great videos, funny, relatable.. But still kinda "meh" and without star quality.. I don't want this to turn into arguing so I'm asking you to respect everyone's opinion on certain artists.. Do you ever feel this way about some famous person and why? Most of the new artists' music is just a fan service and it's the beginning of their career, they didn't break it into the GP and it's pretty bad. There have been many popular artists in the past that lack vocal ability, but can make up for it in artistry. She is not one of those artists. I'll never understand her popularity. I'm sure she's a nice girl, but I really don't understand how she's managed to get so far in the industry with little natural talent. Jennifer Lopez: Talented, beautiful woman. An icon, for sure. Unfortunately, her vocal ability also lacks. Luckily, she has natural talent and beauty, which I believe is why she's gotten so far. The star quality was there at one point. In my opinion all four lack any originality in their music AND style tbh As queen Shea Coulee put it once, I can throw a stone and hit five different girls that do what they do So long ggd, it was nice while it lasted.
