Could the delay in the tour cancellation be because of the album sales?

Read this in one of the haters' comments somewhere online, and tbh it makes some sense... First of all - are there ticket+album bundles available for the Chromatica Ball and the new album?

If so, maybe the tour isn't officially cancelled/postponed and with the possibility of a refund because Gaga and the team are waiting for the album to come out first so they can count the ticket bundle sales into the official numbers that count for the chart debut...?

I dunno, to me this seems a bit excessive... holding onto the money people might need in this situation, just to secure a better chart placement... The ticket bundles are a bit of a scam anyway, no matter who does them.

Would kinda mean she literally held the album back for sales / bundles, no....? Bling not the music?

Haven’t people been saying this for awhile? I’ve heard a lot of speculation that it has to do with the bundles

it’s also possible they’re putting off announcing until they get new dates scheduled, which could be difficult given everything else she always has going on

and it’s also possible that livenation isn’t liquid enough to issue refunds right now so they’re figuring that out

No, probably Interscope held it back for the sales / bundles, while Gaga did it to raise money for the virus.

I don't know, Enigma was canceled pretty late too. And that seems easier to reschedule or postpone.

I'm not counting on a tour this year, so it may take a while to figure it all out with her agenda booked years in advance. The bundles could have something to do with it, but I think the major difficulty is simply if they can reshedule and if not if they are able to contractually cancel this tour all together and working all that out.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

Yeah it could be that, it makes sense. It also makes sense if she wants to have a new date before postponing. Maybe her movie filming schedule is also holding up the planning? And Enigma as well?

No fvckin way, I can’t accept that. Realistically there is no way they, or any artist for that matter, can reschedule right now, because we just don’t know when it will be safe/allowed. Holding on to people’s money indefinitely is super not okay.

How does that make sense? I don't think she would get her part of the money before the tour ends, so the money from the tickets can't really be donated anywhere... and the donations from big companies that she has worked with don't really have any connection to the ticket refunds from her tour.

it’s one ticket...how much could it cost? 400 dollars?

It's just a theory... we'll see what happens.... if the album comes out first, and then the tour is suddenly cancelled/postponed and the tickets refunded (after the first week of album sales) we will know the reason.

I meant reschedule for next year or something lol. Not push it back a couple months. This is happening all over the place. Red Rocks is rescheduling all their shows this summer for next year and only giving people 30 days to request refunds. It’s shiitty but it’s par for the course right now
