The song continued and I realized that it sounds EXACTLY like Katy Perry’s song Dressin Up (from teenage dream). Maybe I’m crazy, but they’re SO similar. I really don’t think it’s much of a stretch honestly. We all know Dua is a Katy stan so there’s no doubt that she’s heard it before. I mean she went to the California Dreams tour and got onstage with Katy so idk maybe she was inspired to write something similar? Listen. But the first time I heard Physical it really really reminded me of Dressin’ Up, which I think is one of Katy’s coolest and most underrated songs.
