For me, I just don't like when songs repeat themselves, or parts of it all the time, and don't have a real verse- and I have a Million Reasons for that! What’s good about Sia is the way she comes up with melodies, and her usage of chords are fantastic. Her voice is super unique and she always layers it with perfect harmony placement. Sia has a huge catalog that exists before she made it big- full of great choruses and verses. But yes she has been simplifying because that is what sells these days. Her choruses are always epic, where as Gaga seems to put a lot of emphasis on verses, and just loses the momentum in the most important part of the song- the chorus.
