This is the tea. I will say I don't subscribe to the notion that HE is evil. He is a product of the state of the music industry as a whole. The reason he bought Taylors discography for example is because Taylor is a HUGE artist and it would be like printing money, it was less of a move to control Taylor and more of a move to line his own pockets with one of the most lucrative artists. Taylor def spun the narrative there to make him look evil - but the truth is, it's standard in the music industry. There's so much greed and lack of compassion and rewards to a n artist for what they have had to create. They don't get compensated properly in the way they should if their music is money machine. Gaga is lucky with Bobby because he is considerate to her - he's not perfect by any means as a manager. But being a "good" manager and being a good person don't typically balance in this industry. The industry as a whole needs to change to give the artist more power - or at least more even earnings - and then those who have been greedy for years will have to adjust as well. Rant over.

I remember Ariana saying Scooter made her put "Ghostin'" into thank u,next for some controversy but she didn't want to but still do it anyway cause she can't really back down :air:

If Scooter was Gaga's  manager, her career would BE DEAD after ARTPOP. You lucky she had Bobby who is also a  good manager and  good friend.

Scooter only cares  about business.

Very untrue. Justin had way bigger image problems than Gaga ever did and Scooter knew what to do to fix them. Remember the roast justin bieber stint on comedy central? That was no accident.

That's what i said tho? Even tho Bieber is problematic  but he's still a streaming magnet and massive mainstream success.

You see what  happened with Tori Kelly? with Madison Beer? Carly Rae Jepsen? They're very talented.  But because they don't have mainstream success or they lost it, he dropped them COMPLETELY.  (and soon to be Demi Lovato)

Wow, a manager who knows what to do... must be nice :selena:

He must be good liar because Demi believes that she had drug addiction because she couldn't get birthday cake. He only cares about money He didn't help this girl to recover and brainwashed her.

Bobby isn't a bad manager he looks at the full picture, Gaga is rusty in competing with the other pop girls remember.

She maybe needs an extra manager/more help for this dance pop release. Altho the SL rollout was amazing, it could've been better further on down the line. Pulling it from radio? It could've spent 5 more weeks hovering around the top 60. Also, we don't know what a non corona era with performances and promo would've looked like (Gaga is an artist that thrives off promo lol)

Gaga had her charity moment and 'the prayer' could've been pushed, but it sounded harsh with the piano and messy with John Legend - it just needed a proper studio edit.

Hopefully these singles won't affect Gaga's chances at more top 5 peaks :flower: but yeah we need to give Bobby a break.

Stare at the Chartster in the mirror they talk to me too. #StreamFunTonight

I agree, he is a bussinesman trying to make bussiness aka earn as much money as possible. Can we blame him for it? Thats arguable, but thats how a lot of things work in these world.
