But it's no where near the difference in between USA and Sweden in pop and structure. Not all states in the USA where under lockdown. Sweden has not even the same movement of people inside or coming from outside its borders.

Argentina and Brazil are similar in many ways.

Honestly not informed enough to make an opinion but I am biased towards listening to medical professionals (there's a reason why they're professionals) and being on the safe side and staying indoors. I don't wanna get anyone's mom and pop sick.

U should bother when u have a point to make, but comparasions of Brazil with other countries make little sense. 

Brazil ignored the virus, denied its existence, looked the other way, it did almost nothing to fight this. This cant be compared with many countries in the world.

Thats 15.620 deaths in 1 year (365 days) compared to 62k deaths in 3 months (89 days) (still growing with 2k deaths a day btw)

Sweden's strategy only works because their population is spread out and listens to the actions taken by the governement instead of going out

Isnt that a thing to celebrate?  Anyway the original ICU beds wouldnt have been sufficient, they needed slightly more then 5000 beds but only had around 3000. The 'normal' hospital beds were quite a lot tho, but its better to be safe then getting to send away patients because there arent any beds anymore

To be fair tho, so far we only saw major outbreaks in whealthy countries with lots of hospital beds... Its only getting started in those countries that will be hit the hardest

Im happy for these results hopefully they will keep the immunity for at least a year, that would really help in decreasing the spread once we re-open

Helpfull? It is a butcher decision. It works a little, but with how many other disastrous effects? We can do this with every virus, but we dont do it for a reason.

I'm talking about other social distancing measures. Brazil didnt have any. 

In comparasions, Sweden closed part of their schools, made new rules for restaurants, banned large events, closed nursing homes, encouraged people to work from home and other measures.
