Aga Gydal 3,158
Since we're right on the cusp of hearing new Chromatica music, let's predict which tracks will best fit the categories below so that we can look back at these and kii. I did this with some friends before Joanne dropped and was way off, so curious what you all have to say. Copy/paste the following into your post along with your song predictions, and feel free to share why. The third single: The ballad/tearjerker of the album: The fan favorite: The most polarizing: The underrated one: The overrated one: The most experimental: The song that sounds nothing like you expected: Closest to a "filler" track: Here are mine: The third single: 1000 Doves. I have a feeling this will go over well with critics, and Gaga will want to perform it a lot The ballad/tearjerker of the album: Replay. I do think the "grave" lyrics that were shared are from this track The fan favorite: Babylon. I don't need to explain this one, it's the most definitively "Gaga" sound so far The most polarizing: Enigma. I have a feeling this song is going to be "defended" a lot around here The underrated one: Stupid Love. Yes we've been tough on it, but I think it'll truly shine within the context of the album, a la Perfect Illusion The overrated one: Sour Candy. This will be talked about so much, potentially over more interesting material The most experimental: Plastic Doll. I'm anticipating some strange production on this one The song that sounds nothing like people expected: Alice. Mainly because I have no idea what to expect from this Closest to a "filler" track: Enigma. The potential chorus (I-I'll be your enigma) already sounds like a Gaga song I've heard before
Queen Bitch 10,513
The third single: Sour Candy The ballad/tearjerker of the album: 1000 Doves The fan favorite: Babylon (obviously) The most polarizing: Alice The underrated one: Fun Tonight The overrated one: Sine From Above The most experimental: Plastic Doll The song that sounds nothing like you expected: Plastic Doll Closest to a "filler" track: Replay
MaryJaneHolland 77,348
The third single: Sour Candy The ballad/tearjerker of the album: I don't think there will be any, but maybe Sine For Above The fan favorite: Babylon The most polarizing: Sour Candy? The underrated one: Replay The overrated one: Alice The most experimental: Plastic Doll The song that sounds nothing like you expected: 1000 Doves Closest to a "filler" track: Sine From Above
alsemanche 93,923
The third single: Sour Candy The ballad/tearjerker of the album: 1000 Doves (the title sounds too ballad-y) The fan favorite: Babylon (from everyone's reaction to it) The most polarizing: Enigma The underrated one: 911 The overrated one: Rain on Me (just because I don't enjoy Ariana's vocals in general) The most experimental: Plastic Doll The song that sounds nothing like you expected: Plastic Doll Closest to a "filler" track: Fun Tonight Soft, soothing, and succulent
fuqdissht 56
The third single: Free Woman ft. Celine dion just had a dream about this. The ballad/tearjerker of the album: sine? The fan favorite: Babylon The most polarizing: Replay cuz it sounds like something I might replay but has the title of a Eurovision track The underrated one: Enigma stfu The overrated one: Alice y’all already babbling about this one The most experimental: 911 cuz well madeon is a mastermind The song that sounds nothing like you expected: fun tonight, chances this will not suq? Closest to a "filler" track: 1000 doves probably. 💅
Watershed 90
The third single: Alice The ballad/tearjerker of the album: I don't think there will be any. I think 1000 Doves & Sine From Above will be ballads but more uplifting like Gypsy. The fan favorite: Babylon (duh) The most polarizing: Enigma The underrated one: Sine from Above. Ya'll hate it because of Elton John vibes. The overrated one: Sour Candy The most experimental: Enigma, because of the boyz noise production. The song that sounds nothing like you expected: Sour Candy Closest to a "filler" track: Replay
Mr Oak 7,691
The third single: Alice/Fun Tonight The ballad/tearjerker of the album: Sine from Above The fan favorite: Babylon The most polarizing: Babylon The underrated one: Replay The overrated one: Free Woman The most experimental: Plastic Doll The song that sounds nothing like you expected: Enigma Closest to a "filler" track: Sour Candy
Karen 1,145
The third single: Sour Candy The ballad/tearjerker of the album: 1000 Doves The fan favorite: Babylon The most polarizing: Babylon The underrated one: 911 The overrated one: Rain on me The most experimental: Plastic Doll The song that sounds nothing like you expected: Replay Closest to a "filler" track: Enigma I'm so used to giving, and now I get to receive
Aga Gydal 3,158
So far there's a lot of consensus on Third single (Sour Candy) Fan favorite (Babylon) Most experimental (Plastic Doll) Watch these be way off lol
Anderson123 38,482
The third single: Free Woman based on that interview and the position on the tracklist. Maybe Sour Candy but not sure she’d want to release this right after Rain On Me. The ballad/tearjerker of the album: 1000 Doves The fan favorite: So hard to pick one but I’m thinking about a Dance In The Dark / Scheiße / Venus kind of fan favorite that is really good and most fans love it but most likely not a single. I’m gonna have to go with Alice, Enigma or maybe Replay/Fun Tonight. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s Babylon because that Haus Lab instrumental slaps. The most polarizing: Enigma? Curious to know what it sounds like. The underrated one: Replay, 911 or Fun Tonight. Maybe even Sine From Above because it’s Elton or Babylon because some have heard it already. The overrated one: Sour Candy because Little Chartsters. The most experimental: Enigma, Plastic Doll. The song that sounds nothing like you expected: Alice, Replay, Fun Tonight, 911 because I have no idea what to expect and are so non Gaga titles. Closest to a "filler" track: Replay, same reason as above. I feel like it’s gonna surprise me though.
warhol killah 8,674
The third single: Sour Candy. or Free Woman. If Free Woman ends up being a promo single for the era, Sour Candy might be the single # 3, although I find it very weird to have the 2 features as singles consecutively, but that's just me. The ballad/tearjerker of the album: 1000 Doves or Sine From Above. Both titles screams ballad to me, though I'd lean on the first one. The fan favorite: Babylon. Closes the album, and basing it on the snippet it gives me a very "work it out, strike a pose" kind of vibe. The most polarizing: 911 or Enigma. The underrated one: Sine From Above. A collab with Elton John, especially if it's a ballad, might cause fans to skip it. I personally am curious to what they've come up with. The overrated one: Babylon. A lot of fans would love it but I feel like it would create to much hype. I might be wrong though. The most experimental: 911 or Enigma. The title sounds VERY electronic and loud. I expect both songs to be very similar between the ranges of Aura - Mary Jane Holland, but with a 90's kick. The song that sounds nothing like you expected: Alice. It might be a dance track, it might be a melancholy one, or it might be a ballad I guess? But as an opener, I expect it to be a BANGER. Closest to a "filler" track: Fun Tonight. I might be wrong, and I don't normally define songs as "fillers", but we'll see. warhol killer ✴ GAGA¹⁵

gaggs 1,090
The third single: Alice The ballad/tearjerker of the album: Sine From Above ft. Elton John The fan favorite: ROM ft. Ariana Grande The most polarizing: Enigma The underrated one: Fun Tonight / 911 The overrated one: Sour Candy The most experimental: Plastic Doll The song that sounds nothing like you expected: 1000 Doves Closest to a "filler" track: Sine From Above ft. Elton John (no shade, I'm still curious about the song)
JRCF29 8,202
The third single: Babylon The ballad/tearjerker of the album: Sine From Above The fan favorite: Babylon The most polarizing: 1000 Doves The underrated one: Plastic Doll The overrated one: Free Woman The most experimental: Alice The song that sounds nothing like you expected: 911 Closest to a "filler" track: Enigma Don't Call Me Gaga
Butters Stotch 5,364
The third single: Free Woman. I know it's rumored to be a promo single, but its empowering nature, the feminist and for many relatable lyrics make it a perfect choice for a single. The ballad/tearjerker of the album: it's gonna be 1000 Doves, it's the one that sounds more likely to be a ballad, though I don't think there will be no actual sad music on Chromatica, but we'll see. The fan favorite: Babylon, well, we've heard the leaked snippet, and we heard the instrumental from HL and everyone seems to think it's amazing and everything. The most polarizing: Enigma... just like the show, I think it's gonna be a love it or hate it. The underrated one: Alice, sounds like it's gonna be somehow interesting but not enough to be a fan favourite. The overrated one: Sour Candy. Yes, I said what I said. I expect it to be good and fun, but that's it. The fans will make a big deal out of it and some will say it's the best track on the album (it's already happening), but I don't expect it to be. The most experimental: Enigma... I feel like we are going to get something different on this one, because when we think who Lady Gaga, she will show us we don't. The song that sounds nothing like you expected: I guess Sone From Above because I'm really hoping Gaga would create something we don't quite expect to hear Elton being normally involved in. Like she did with Florence on Hey Girl. I know I'm reaching, but we'll see, I just would like to hear it and feel surprised, I want it to not be what we would expect from an Elton and Gaga song. Closest to a "filler" track: Fun Tonight screams filler, though I don't think there are actual fillers on Gaga's albums, every song on the album has a reason to be there. I just feel like Fun Tonight is gonna be a "party song", like the one you listen when you are drinking with your friends, not very deep, just meant to be funny and to make you wanna dance to it.
