I don't think governors has the power to close off the boarders of their state. I could be wrong. But until then, as long as the boarders are open and anyone can enter and exit, it's better to be safe. What's your state numbers in total (overall population and # of cases)? There are states that are reopening, so it doesn’t have to do with being able to close borders Im in Washington and we have a total population of about 7.6M, and about 13k cases. It’s not just a week lol. The current restrictions are supposed to be done on May 4, but Inslee has already said we won’t be reopening then.
